There’s not much that can compare with winding down in the privacy of your own home after a particularly challenging day at work, even if you work from home. However, this is not always possible when your neighbours or passers-by have an easy view into your property. We’ve designed and manufactured our fully portable verandah privacy screens to allow you to maximise your privacy, no matter the space.

Useful Information About Our Privacy Screen for an Outdoor Deck

Traditionally if you wanted privacy outdoors, you would have built higher walls or a pergola. However, this is not always possible, especially if your property is a rental or you live in an apartment block where permission is required for any fixtures.

• Our verandah privacy screens are easy to install. You don’t need to worry about damaging your property – our screens use patented universal clamps that can attach to your deck or balcony railings.
  
• Once you have attached these clamps securely, you will simply extend the screen to the desired length to enjoy some genuine ‘me time’. Whether it’s your morning yoga or a soothing cup of tea, you won’t need to worry about nosey neighbours or prying eyes.
• Our founder, Bob, designed the screens with ease-of–use as a priority. After attaching the clamps, it’s as simple as pulling the handle and extending the screen – which has a reach of three metres – then hooking it in to the second clamp to secure it in place.

Do You Have Questions About Our Outdoor Deck Privacy Screen?

We understand that our verandah privacy screens are an investment, and we’d be happy to answer any questions you have about them. We are often asked the following questions:

• How long will it take for me to set up and install my screen?
  • The initial installation of the clamps will take less than fifteen minutes. Once they are in position, it takes seconds to roll your screen out or retract it for storage.
• How do I maintain my screen?
  • Maintenance is minimal. All you need to do is wipe your screen down regularly using a clean, damp cloth. Your screen is designed to withstand most weather conditions, but you may notice that the shade cloth fades slightly over time.
• What are your screens made of?
  • Each screen is manufactured using a combination of woven polyester and PVC. The frame is made from aluminum, which is powder-coated. The two clamps are made from powder-coated tough steel and will not rust.
