All hardware included in the box
Before You Begin
The clamp hooks over a horizontal top rail. It suits:
- Metal or glass balcony railings
- Deck and veranda balustrades
- Glass pool fencing panels
Not suitable for: vertical posts, round poles, or solid walls.
Not sure your railing qualifies? Use our Will It Fit My Railing? form before you order — send Bob a photo and he'll confirm it personally, usually within one business day.
The Three Stages
-
Assemble the clamps. Clamp A holds the screen cassette; Clamp B secures the extended end. Build both fully before attaching them to your railing.
-
Attach to your railing. Space the clamps up to 3 metres apart, at the same height. Position each one, check alignment, then tighten. Re-check bolt tension after 24 hours.
-
Pull out and enjoy. Lock the screen cassette into Clamp A, then pull the screen across until it locks into Clamp B at your chosen width.
Once the clamps are set, they rarely need adjusting again — unless you're relocating the screen to a different spot.
Safety Notes
- Don't overtighten the clamp bolts.
- Retract the screen in strong or extreme weather.
- Take care of protruding clamp parts when walking past an installed screen.
- Always check both clamps feel stable before extending the screen.
